A bit about the role:
We are searching for a Head/Director of Gaming BD in Korea to forge relationships with key prospective partners and build out a world-class BD team. You will be leading the charge to scale Gaming assets via public infrastructure (Immutable X, built on Ethereum) versus the closed or insecure infrastructure offered elsewhere.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Take full relationship accountability for potential customers, and maximise minting volume into Immutable X for the Korea region by successfully pitching them to use our solution. This includes getting partners to announce that they’ll be using us.
- Build a full and comprehensive sales strategy tailored towards that Korea region that achieves the region’s goals and ties into the global mission.
- Be an integral part of the end-to-end sales process, answering technical questions, and working well with internal teams to deliver results and enable their team to succeed.
- Build, grow, and mentor a team of A+ player BD sellers
- Foster a culture of over-achievement and ensure your team has the training, support, and resources to broker game-changing partnerships for the region.
- Take full accountability for your team’s metrics and deliver accurate forecasts for the business
- Drive effective collaboration with Sales Engineers to architect winning solutions for our customers, and actively share customer feedback & requirements with the Product team.
We would love you to have:
- 7+ years of proven performance at a leading Technology platform in a Business Development, Partnerships, Account Executive leadership position selling to C-level decision-makers. Gaming experience is highly desirable
- Proven track record of achievement and leading large diverse teams to successful outcomes
- Passion for fostering a culture of achievement in the sales function, and high emotional intelligence – you have genuine empathy for your team and our customers, and you maximise your impact through understanding the motivations of others
- A track record building teams as a trusted coach to BD reps to drive results
- Full accountability mentality for achieving metrics and creating and delivering accurate forecasts for the business
- Hungry with a high level of hustle – this has to be something they really want
- Culturally “gets it” – capable of understanding what motivates startups in the blockchain space
- Excellent communication skills in English and Korean
Nice to haves:
- Experience selling a technical product (ie. Gaming technologies) is a plus
- Worked in blockchain/crypto space (ie. Circle), or demonstrates domain knowledge & expertise
- An industry thought leader
- Passionate Gamer or passionate about the Blockchain / Crypto Space
- Proven experience in building and growing a successful team from 0-1
