A bit about the role:
You will be working closely with our CFO and Founders as you build out our investment and corporate development function. You will have an enormous opportunity to define Immutable’s inorganic growth strategy and make a material contribution to the direction of the company in the next 5-10 years. You will unlock new potential growth opportunities by identifying new companies to invest in or exceptional talent to acquire whilst also driving huge value for the company through active investor engagement and relationship-building.

You will have the opportunity to:

    • Partner with product leadership and executive team to develop inorganic elements of company roadmap
    • Deeply understand and apply Immutable’s strategic objectives to identify, recommend and pursue companies/technologies that can meet those objectives
    • Lead all aspects of deal execution and integration including screens, due diligence, financial modelling and negotiations
    • Proactively establish and nurture long-term relationships with target companies
    • Provide an accurate account of company affairs and manage all investor reporting requirements 
    • Be first point of contact for all equity or token holders, and respond to them promptly on all channels
    • Organise and set agenda for regular check-ins with tier 1 investors
    • Work closely with the finance team to deliver Board and investor requests on time
    • Manage board scheduling, documentation and governance 
    • Lead future equity and token funding rounds, including process management, proactive investor outreach, meeting agendas, allocation tracking, coordinating due diligence, transaction documentation etc

We would love you to have:

    • M&A or transaction services experience at top tier investment banks or Big 4 accounting firm
    • In-house corporate development experience, ideally in a software/tech/crypto company where you’ve been part of and lead an end-to-end M&A process
    • Experience leading all aspects of deal execution including screens, due diligence, financial modelling and negotiations 
    • Level of seniority and professionalism to lead discussions with senior Partners at global investment firms
    • Compassionate and able to manage and understand investors’ and potential acquisition targets’ needs
    • Strong understanding of emergent technology themes and industry landscape
    • Web3 interest (essential) – experience preferable

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

    • Experience in a VC / PE firm focused on technology investments 
    • Passion for tech and insightful industry understanding.
    • Experience managing internal integration processes 
    • Desire to learn about web3 technology and business models, competitors, products and other key crypto audiences
    • Able to represent Immutable at events and in the broader tech/crypto community and discover great opportunities via connections built in the space
