About the role

We are looking for an experienced Ethereum/Polygon blockchain developer to join our ecosystem team. The team behind The Sandbox’s collection launches (everything from The Doggies to Steve Aoki and People of Crypto), avatars, blockchain, DeFi and so much more.

What you’ll be doing

• Write the Smart-Contracts code for the blockchain aspects of The Sandbox platform
• Collaborate with other team members on the Architecture of the Smart-Contracts of the Blockchain components of the ecosystem
• Collaborate with other team members on the Technical Aspects (technical stack, code reviews, choice of solutions etc)
• Guarantee the implementation of secure and optimal smart-contract code
• Participate actively in writing of the Technical Documentation of the code and systems developed for the platform
• Communicate on regular basis with the team (using weekly reporting and scrum methodology) to follow the status and progress

What we are looking for

• Experience on both Ethereum and Polygon networks
• Proven record of complex smart contract development (Ethereum and Polygon)
• Experience with non-fungible tokens
• Obsessed by best practices and security
• Ability to deep dive into unknown code and to analyse it quickly
• Ability to write technical documentation
• Flexible, with a capacity to synthesise encountered problems
• Great autonomy and proactive
